This thread is dedicated to the on-going development of the PipNailer AutoTrader that I wrote. Please remember that I didn’t develop the PipNailer strategy. You can find a wealth of information and ideas at the thread listed above including many tips for manual trading and enhancement ideas for the strategy. Everything you need to know about trading this system is freely given away on that thread and even includes at least one EA that is also freely given away on that thread. That does not mean that mine is better than his because he gives it away. That also doesn’t mean that his is better than mine because it’s free either.

I can say with complete assurance that 99.9% of the people who’ve tracked me down here and decided to buy this EA were aware of the fact that there was a free version developed by someone else. If I were walking into people’s living rooms and holding them at gun point until they bought my EA then I would say there’s a problem but that is simply not the case here. You keep on reading… Am I forcing you to do that?

Here’s the bottom line…
The creator above has decided to give his system away freely. I’ve decided to code an EA to trade it for me automatically. I’ve made it known that my version of this EA is available but it carries a cost for my development time and the support that comes along with it. In the end I hope people will feel it’s worth it. If they don’t then there isn’t anything forcing them to stay here either.

Dozens of people can freely share directions on how to get from point A to point B. You then have several choices…

• You can walk (manual trading)
• You can hitch a ride with someone going your way (free EA)
• Or I can give you a lift but I charge for gas (my EA)

Which choice is best? That’s a matter of preference and what makes you comfortable.

Still here? Here is a summary of the functions.

• Set order lot size
• MaxDiffFromOpen ensures a good entry
• Trailing stop based on previous bar’s PSAR level
• Traditional trailing stop
• Sends e-mail when new orders are placed
• Sends e-mail of current status and history
• Chart display of profit/loss history

Special notes:

• Can be run in any time frame although Daily was used when writing and testing the EA
• It is extremely important that MT4 run all week with the charts open and EA attached. No EA can do its thing unless everything is running. That’s why you have an EA to trade for you.
• Currently supports all brokers although FXDD is preferred
