This EA has been going through major development over the last couple of weeks. Demos have been turning good results and enhancements are being on a regular basis. The latest version (1.5.0) released today now includes 8 different entry options. The options can be chosen individually or multiples can selected. Also, each entry has it’s own settings providing even greater control over how and when the EA opens new orders.

The entry options now included are AshFX, AshFX II, Coin Toss, Heiken Ashi, Moving Average, MyFutureBAT, PipNailer, and SynergyMethod.

I would also like to mention that the EA Data Analyzer site continues to make progress and the database now contains over 17,000 trades from all the demos and live accounts that are running my EAs. Also, I’ve dusted off the DailyHighLow Indicator and was inspired to start a DailyHighLow demo which will be coming soon based on the original Daily95 setup and other demos like MyFutureBAT and RollerCoaster have been running for some time now as well.

I wanted to let everyone know whats been happening and what is going to be happening.

First things first… I’ve been working hard on the EADA behind the scenes but it’s still at least a month away from completion. My apologies to those who’ve been waiting but this has proven to be a large task for a single developer (me) to complete but it will be completed.

Second… I’ve completed working with Ben to get the CrazyPyramid AutoTrader coded. He and I are testing for the next 2 days or so. If everything looks ok with it then I plan to post it under the “Expert Advisor (Downloads)” section. Anyone with a Lifetime membership will have the chance to download this EA and test it themselves.

For those who are not familiar with the strategy, you should take a look at the links below.

It’s an exciting twist and has proven through Ben’s demo testing to be profitable.

Also, Ben and I have both began using MyFXBook.com to keep track of our demo testing. You can view the latest results in our signatures.

My personal testing has included AshFX, MyFutureBAT, and the WeeklyOpen for now and will expand over time. Updated posts have also been made to their appropriate threads on each of these demos.

and a final FYI on Lifetime membership…

On Saturday (October 31st) I am raising the price for Lifetime members to $500. Existing Lifetime members are covered and anyone who had access to an individual EA will still have access to everything they had before. As a result of the increase I will be offering subscriptions again for $50/month. Any member who keeps a subscription for a full 12 months ($600) will be automatically upgraded to Lifetime membership status. Of course subscriptions may be canceled at any time and it’s a good way for new users to try the EAs. EAs available to subscription members will time out at the end of each month but will be able to work for live or demo accounts.

For any Lifetime members… You should download the EA Data Analyzer client in the downloads section if you’re running any demo accounts. Even though the website’s front-end is not complete the database is still growing with trades from anyone testing with this software installed. In fact, we currently have 11,453 completed trades in the database right now. Every demo, EA, and settings variation helps make the data more useful and will eventually allow everyone to view those results through the website.

If you would like to take advantage of the current price please click here. At the moment there are 14 different EAs for Lifetime Members.

Just thought I should say something for those who are wondering…

I am making progress with the Data Analyzer site although it has proven itself to me that the task is greater than I originally imagined. I will complete the site but it’s taking longer than I anticipated.

In the mean time, The database is growing with over 10,000 completed trades on a number of different Forex EAs (AshFX, AshFX II, RollerCoaster, PipNailer, MyFutureBAT, SynergyMethod, etc.). Some very solid results have been made showing profits with AshFX and MyFutureBAT. I’m sure there are others but this is just a result of me taking a close look at those 2 directly.

Please be patient, the EA Data Analyzer site will be completed and new EAs will be developed.

I would also like to mention that the current cost for Lifetime membership to my site is $100. This gives the user the ability to download and use any EA I currently have developed and any EAs I will develop in the future. This one-time payment will be going up shortly after the release of the EA Data Analyzer site. If you would like to take advantage of the current price please click here. At the moment there are 13 different EAs for Lifetime Members.

A majority of my day has gone into installing MetaTrader, configuring it, installing the EA Data Analyzer client, and setting up some initial demos. I’ve installed MetaTrader 50 times on my VPS (10 of each for Alpari UK, Forex.com, FXCM, FXDD, and IBFX). All 50 have been updated to the latest versions as well. Days like today remind me of what a pain in the butt all this is but I’m glad it’s behind me now.

Demos…

My initial demos are all running on Alpari UK. There are 6 demos (AshFX H4, AshFX D1, AshFX II H4, AshFX II D1, MyFutureBAT H4, and MyFutureBAT D1) all with default values for the most part. The only changes I’ve really made in the settings are turning on Money Management for 3%. For the MyFutureBAT demos I’ve configured a large take profit and have decided on all demos to let the EAs manage the exits with no trailing stops other than PSAR with AshFX systems and the BAT line with MyFutureBAT. Several trades have already been placed and all information is being uploaded to my server with the EA Data Analyzer client. I will be expanding my testing to include other EAs and brokers over time but feel I’ve accomplished enough for right now.

I look forward to completing the Analysis website and finding out what works and what doesn’t. I also thank all those who have chosen to contribute by downloading my client and are now uploading active trade data along with my own. Over time I have big plans and am excited to see how it all unfolds.

Over the past several months there have been issues with my EAs and how they perform on brokers with an additional digit of precision like Alpari. Much time has been spent resolving these issues and I’m now pleased to announce that many bugs have been worked out of the EAs. In addition, there have been revisions to money management and other items as well. Every Expert Advisor listed below has been revised…

AshFX, AshFX II, BreakoutSentinel, DailyHighLow, DailyHighLow Reverse, GrabMyOrders, MyFutureBAT, PipNailer, ProfitLossTally, RollerCoaster, SynergyMethod, TossUp, and WeeklyOpen.

Some major work has been completed. Expert Advisors that now include money management are AshFX, BreakoutSentinel, DailyHighLow, DailyHighLow Reverse, MyFutureBAT, PipNailer, RollerCoaster, SynergyMethod, and WeeklyOpen. Also, version numbering has been revised to more easily track changes to the EAs.

For what it’s worth, I’ve decided to start running the MyFutureBAT AutoTrader Expert Advisor on my live account. The performance on my initial back tests was fantastic and I want to see how it does in a forward/live environment. I’m using 4 hour charts, 3% risk, no trailing with BAT, 5000 pip take profit, and the EA decides the stop loss. Those were the settings I tested and worked out very well. The pairs that I’m running are the AUD/JPY, EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, and NZD/JPY pairs.

After a grueling day of testing and modifications I think this EA is turning out to be a very good trading tool. I’ve run numerous side by side tests and published my results to the forum. One of the most impressive tests was the GBP/JPY with 6,269 and 7,063 pips on the first and second run.

Sorry for the delay but MyFutureBAT version 1.0 has been added to the download section. I will be restructuring the first post to preserve its original state and adding the typical items that define my EAs individual threads like settings, revision notes, videos, etc.

This release comes with money management functionality and should be tested carefully to make sure it works properly. I’ve tested it myself and it seems to work exactly as it should but I still think it needs other sets of eyes looking at it. Basically each order looks at a “RiskPercent” of the free margin divided by the number of pips in the stop loss.

Example:

((AccountFreeMargin * RiskPercent) / StopLossAmount)

Lets just say that account free margin is $10,000, risk is 3% and stop loss pips is 206. This would be the result:

$10,000 x 0.03 = $300
$300 / 206 = 1.46

Lot size would be 1.46.

Now doing things this way means that when the stop loss is small then lot size will be larger and vice versa. This is because the stop loss changes with each new trade. I should also mention that initial testing with the same setup on the GBP/JPY resulted this way:

36 orders
$4,269.62 profit
5,355 pips

Total ending balance of $14,269.62.

At some points there was actually positive pips and a negative profit due to lot sizes changing. So ultimately, I think this has been a good run whether you use the money management of not being that there was a total 5,355 pips bagged in roughly 4 months.

I’ve compiled the EA with the default settings I used to produce the results above using 4 hour charts and JYP pairs.
